1970s 16x20 Lithograph of Painting (First Fleet Operation Of the Continental Navy) Painting was done by Curator for the Dept of Navy, Washington D.C. V. Zveg. Depicts March 3 1776, Continental Navy arriving in Bahamas. This is New Providence Island, where 250 marines and sailors landed under Marine Capt Samuel Nicolas. They attacked Fort Montague, which had been abandoned. Fort Nassau surrendered the following day. Measures 16 x 20. Specially made for Dept of Navy in the early 1970s. Pick up in James Island near folly beach.
