Beautiful vintage Chinese 3-tiered wedding basket. Perfect decor statement piece for Chinoiserie or Hollywood Regency styles. Features stunning, detailed high-relief golden wood carvings on the top lid and front panels, accented by rich red/black lacquer, woven bamboo panel sides, and heavy brass corner brackets. Top lid lifts off to access a removable inside tray, and front doors open to the main storage compartment. Great fixer-upper or restoration project for resellers. Dimensions: ~17" W x 13" D x 17.5" H (excluding handle extension) Sold AS-IS / Needs Repair. One front door is completely detached and needs to be re-hung (screw holes are stripped and need filling). One edge shows an older wood filler repair that can be touched up. Normal vintage surface wear and minor lacquer chips. $180 Cash only. Pick up in Livermore. No shipping or trades.
