ChaseTone Secret Preamp Original Chase Tone 2016 RARE

Amazing rare pedal! Sounds incredible and is magic in a box! It does have the NOS Allen-Bradley resistors and Orange Drops. Below is a Q and A with Kyle Chase in an effort to determine what the specifics are on this pedal. He describes what the specific purpose for this build was, and who would benefit most. Below are the communications with Kyle Chase about this particular pedal; “The SECRET PREAMP you have is a 2016 side mount jacks dark grey hammer build with NOS orange drops and NOS Allen Bradley resistors and NOS JFET. The SECRET PREAMP pedal is over 20 years old, but the one you have is at least 10 or 11 years into production of the SECRET PREAMP. It has green fiberglass circuit board not hand made brown paxolin board or hand wired terminal strip like the earliest ones. Traditionally, when someone says handwired they may think it means without a circuit board. But it's also meant to say hand wired jacks or switches which means it's not a board mount switch or jack. It's kind of a gray area I guess. The one you have is used by a lot of big players and is a GREAT pedal. Is it a clearer more transparent tone. It might have been a more custom version. You may notice more when it's combined with other pedals on before it like an overdrive. The maximum setting (visually/physically) on the VOLUME control knob on all of your SECRET PREAMPS will not be "maximum" output level, but more so around 1 or 2 o'clock. But I know what you meant to say that setting both on the 11 o'clock, it is not as loud as your current ones. It might be clearer, more transparent brighter more subtle while your current ones, might be the stock more harmonically rich, warmer, with more of a change on the EQ toggle. You'd have to try it after an overdrive with the other SP pedals to really hear. Sometimes in this era, I made some for guys that used a lot of pedals on boards and were stacking multiple overdrives and this worked with the BRIGHT VS DARK mode without having a MID mode.
