Excellent Condition! This speaker (Circa 2008-2009) is one of the short run of JBL style speakers Ted Weber himself made and are no longer being offered since his death (RIP). Just like the AlNiCo JBL D series, this speaker has the heavy-duty cast iron basket construction but with a lightweight NeoMag magnet. This speaker weighs 9 pounds whereas the JBL’s are in the 18-22 pound range. All paper curved cone with cloth edge and aluminum dome dustcap. 4 inch NeoMag magnet emulating an AlNiCo circuit and single layer voice coil with edge wound aluminum wire designed to have the same magnet circuit energy and voice coil force characteristics as the original Fender AlNiCo JBL D120F speakers.
