Description
Letting go of my 370z Nismo. Owned for close to six years. Always garaged and kept completely stock. Has had a good amount of service done under my ownership. Repairs include rear differential bushings, clutch slave cylinder and fuel level sensor, which were done at Nissan of Irvine. Car had 41k miles when purchased from Carmax. Currently sitting at 122k (freeway miles, mostly) and will increase, as this is my daily. She isn’t perfect. Will need some TLC cosmetically and mechanically, but runs strong for a 12 year old sports car. Solid platform for project car or if one wants to go the oem+ route at this point. Clean title in hand. Asking 18k cash, but I am open to offers and possible trade for a four door commuter, as long as it’s not falling apart and doesn’t have a ton of miles (clean title preferred). Major/minor issues to address: - Will need a new front bumper/valance panel/engine bay cover. Bought the car from carmax with it already damaged and debris from the freeways added to its deterioration. Tabs on the front bumper were broken, so I have the valance panel zip tied to it. Currently has no engine bay cover. - Fifth and sixth gear grind. Was going to either replace the transmission completely or have it rebuilt, but don’t really want to put more money and effort into it, unless I decide to keep it. Other than that it runs fine and doesn’t grind if you granny shift into the gears. - Has some oil leaks. I replaced the power steering hoses and alternator due to buildup on it. Need to address the oil leak around oil drain pan but hasn’t given me issues as of late. - Rock chips on windshield. Most have been filled, except for a recent one. Might get it fixed soon. - side skirts have scuffs, and oxidation on wing and A pillars. - Small tears on driver seat. Normal wear from sitting in. - Rubber seal for driver door shows signs of wear, as well as rubber seals by the b pillars and smaller glass (due to exposure of the elements) - Front and rear rotors were resurfaced and new pads were installed at Nissan of Irvine. Front pads are super noisy when applying mild pressure on the brake pedal. - Horn sometimes doesn’t work. Never got around to diagnosing what the issue is, but it does function for the most part. - Will need new tires. Tags: Nissan, coupe, z, fairlady, Datsun, jdm, z34, nismo
