Practically brand new. I used it once for my kid birthday party movie night. The picture quality is pretty good, although the room has to be really dark. I was able to mirror cast using my iPhone 14 and it works. When I tried to do the same with my Moto G Stylus...it does not work. Not sure if my android phone is capable of mirror casting without a separate chrome cast device, which I used and then it worked just fine. I connected my Fire Stick to the projector and it was the best option for me. I tried sample movie from a thumb drive and it worked pretty smooth. The same with mp3 music. The sound out of it is pretty decent but much better option is a Bluetooth speaker. I can't tell how functions out doors, because I don't have a backyard. Don't know if 4k works - my tv is not 4k.
