Description
Three-color serigraph on paper, signed “B. Thiel” 2/12 c. 1984. 24”h x 18”v and set under glass. This abstract work features a large and remotely globular shape circumnavigated by 4 smaller shapes, on its superior portion, giving this primary shape both scale and dimension. It is a celestial reference, offering the viewer a God’s eye perspective, of certain activity, and relative movement. Bruce V. Thiel is an alumnus and former professor of printmaking at the Corcoran School of Art and specialized in Serigraphy. This image represents an excellent example of his primary body of work.
