Baphomet Shrine OOAK

The Baphomet Shrine is an exquisite one-of-a-kind piece that has been in my collection for over a decade. I've only recently decided to finally let it go. It's completely one-of-a-kind and you will never ever find another like this guaranteed. Years ago there was a small shop now long gone in North Hollywood, California which specialized in very rare items that leaned heavily towards the macabre and the dark arts. The shop's owner created stunning pieces with wrought iron and other materials. His work was staggering and I ended up aquiring several smaller pieces. This shrine is one of them. The Shrine - The Baphomet seems to float inside the distressed, antique, velvet-lined cuckoo clock which sits atop an intricate, absolutely gorgeous wrought iron frame. At the sides toward the top of the wrought iron frame sit two full color Tetragrammatons set in their own individual Iron framework. A centered red candle is seated in a custom iron holder that has two iron corkscrews facing outward for protection, flanked by two black votive candles. Below, six dried roses entwined in the iron framework really complement this piece. You have to see the pictures to get the full idea. Words just do not do it justice. This piece is stunning. You'll notice that it looks dusty. That is intentional and will be left as-is. It seems to be part of its personality if you will. It gives it a very ancient feel as well and I couldn't bring myself to remove it. The shrine has a fragility to it because of the age of the cuckoo clock frame as well as the dried roses. Dimensions: The shrine is 28 inches tall from the top of the cuckoo clock frame to the bottom of the wrought iron frame work. The wrought iron frame work is 13 inches wide at its widest, while the actual clock frame is 12 inches wide at its widest point and 20 inches tall. The figure itself is approximately 9 inches tall. I guarantee you will never, ever find another piece like this.
