Rare Turn-of-the-Century (circa 1895–1910) Gebrüder Heubach 12" German Bisque Cabinet Figurine Mint!

Beautiful, highly collectible antique German character bisque porcelain figurine, that was meticulously crafted during the golden era of Thuringian porcelain production (circa 1895–1910). This impressive 12-inch cabinet piece is attributed to the renowned manufactory of Gebrüder Heubach and perfectly exemplifies the expressive, lifelike "character" modeling the factory pioneered at the turn of the century. The figurine features an expertly sculpted young boy leaning against a naturalistic tree stump, tenderly cradling two small puppies. He is wearing a beautiful turn-of-the-century outfit, including a pastel blue jacket, an orange-buckled belt, patterned breeches, and a matching cap resting over detailed, molded blonde curls. This figurine features a matte bisque finish, completely free of the modern gloss or airbrushed shortcuts found in post-WWI reproductions. The facial features are beautifully hand-painted, highlighting the boy's downcast, realistic expression. The authentic circular reddish-brown export stamp reading "MADE IN GERMANY" with a small auxiliary factory decorator cross (+), accurately dating this piece to the late 1890s / early 1900s McKinley Tariff export era.
