2003 Toyota Tacoma

2003 Tacoma SR5, Salvage title. 2.7L 4 cyl. 5 speed manual. Relatively low mileage at 161k miles with a strong and reliable engine and trans, but the body could use some TLC. I will list every issue that I know of with the car. Pros: Starts every time Never left me stranded and always gets from A to B A/C works! Cons: The big one: Airbag light on. Won't pass smog. (Edit: may pass smog, apparently airbag light doesn't affect it. However selling as is. Sometimes there's a quick grinding noise going into reverse. Could just be a clutch adjustment. No problem actually shifting The rear diff area makes a whirring noise. The rear diff may have had a leak and needs more fluid. Hasn't given me an issue. Alignment is a little off. It pulls to the left. Driver front tire has a slow leak. It needs a little pumping every 3 weeks or so. Outside driver door handle is broken. I enter from the passenger side. I bought a new one but haven't had the chance to put it on. Front right turn signal housing is broken, rear right still works Passenger mirror adjustment is loose. It points to the ground after some bumps Rear view mirror falls off in the hot sun sometimes. It's a suction cup and goes right back on Front window leaks water from the top when it's raining heavily. A/C works but the heat doesn't. You'll get a little warmth from the vents on the freeway but it generally doesn't blow warm Stereo doesn't work It's got its quirks but it's been a good truck! $4000 OBO. Negotiating is on the table.
