Description

Vintage from the 1960s Tortolani created wonderful whimsical figural pins in the 1960s. The example offered is one not often seen. They seemed to do more animals. This street car is so detailed he even has a rhinestone headlight in the front. Vintage, classic, San Francisco streetcar trolley brooch in an antique brushed gold finish metal. Pin measures 1-1/2" long and 1-5/8" tall at the lamp post. In signature Tortolani style, the details and dimension are superb, finished in the incomparable anodized metal the company is noted for. Pin is in great condition. Comes with jewelry gift bag. Tortolani was in business from 1950 to 1976. This is a vintage piece as the older ones have the © mark in front of the Tortolani signature. Tortolani Jewelry (1950 to 1976) was founded by Italian born Francisco Tortolani who created an award-winning line of costume jewelry.
