Refer to pictures for condition. Herman Verbaere, is a Belgian painter. Born on March 13, 1905 in Wetter and died on August 26, 1993 in Zottegem. The son of a printer from Wetteren, he was a landscape painter, watercolorist, draftsman, engraver, and poster artist. He created numerous posters for the Belgian National Railways (SNCB) between 1935 and 1967. From 1962 to 1970, he worked on the design of postage stamps with a Belgian theme.
