I’ve been trying to keep it clean to use it for homework, but it ends up being that area you throw everything on. The top is a little scratched up, but you can always sand it down and repaint it or put a cloth over it. It used to be for my oldest when Covid hit we got her this desk for kinder. We also have a desk chair it’s functional but also a bit dirty. A good scrub down would help
