For sale is a large and exceptionally beautiful vintage Thai Buddhist amulet, a "Phra Nak Prok." This powerful style of amulet is believed to offer profound protection to the wearer. The inner amulet, crafted from sacred earthenware, depicts the iconic scene of the Buddha meditating while being shielded from a great storm by the mythical seven-headed Naga king, Mucalinda. It is set in a stunning, high-quality protective case. The decorated metal frame is highlighted by a vibrant, multi-colored enameled bezel (longya), making this a particularly striking piece. Measuring a full 3.5 inches tall, this is a significant and eye-catching devotional item. This is a wonderful and authentic piece of Thai spiritual art, perfect for a collection or for personal wear.
