Price reduction! Deadline to move. Much love and attention has been put into this vintage Cal-34 and has served as an amazing Liveaboard for the past three years. Highlights include: Brand-new gel coat/paint from keel-to-toe kick in July 2021 (Seattle’s-own Pacific Fiberglass has made it glisten once again!) All non-skid areas on deck were painted and Interior cabin was painted at the same time as well. In addition, a brand- new mast-step was installed. Hull is in excellent condition. Original Atomic-4 Engine (gasoline) runs beautifully after extensive work completed by Dark Harbor Marine: new starter, distributor, coil, carburetor, fuel pump, spark plugs. Brand-new custom-fit cabin/settee-seat cushions (with adjustable buttons) by Mac’s Upholstery (in Ballard). The Main (and additional three other sails) have been recently raised and are in good working order. Chainplates and standing rigging in good condition. I replaced the original (settee) tabletop with a gorgeous custom-fit aquamarine/wood polyurethane tabletop and mounted it on a 70’s nightstand, offering even more drawer/storage space. Head/toilet has been retrofitted to compost. The interior wood speaks for itself, but I added tile along the base of the cabin. I also added a custom-fit polyurethane countertop to the (already) existing top and I replaced the original galley sink with a brand-new 15-inch copper sink. I also mounted a butcher block shelf below the tv (Insignia smart TV) The original quarter berth cushions have been professionally-cleaned and are in impeccable condition. Ditto for the “states room”. Propane stove and heat works, but I never felt the need to employ them. There is diesel-powered-forced air in cabin. This boat is genuinely a turnkey situation and, at present, has everything one could want, said for provisions: microwave, an electric hot plate, a high-end electric ice chest, which serves as both a fridge/freezer (“V-Free by Vitrifrigo), three different space heaters, dehumidifier, coffeemaker(s). Plates, dish ware and fine bedding (down comforter/other comforters and pillows are up for grabs, too!) Halon and the usual required items are onboard. Like anything in life, plans change and a boat is no longer conducive to my future living situation. All I can tell you is that it is the coziest place I’ve ever lived. I’ll miss it, but I hope it finds a good home. This sailboat is currently in North Lake Union (Fremont neighborhood, Seattle) and the slip is Non-Transferable. $9,500 or best offer.
