Aged Mahogany Veneer Desk (63” x 34”)

I’ve had this desktop for almost two decades. This is the second pair of legs that I’ve purchased. The desk is 29” tall, and each leg extends up to 1” for uneven floors or to add height. The surface is veneer, but is very well finished. The texture of the desk turns out to be very important considering your forearms are always resting on it. This desk is incredibly smooth to the touch, and it’s one of the things I’ll miss the most. The bean shape adds a special touch, is surprisingly ergonomic, and fits well with curved monitors. It’s my second favorite thing about this desk. There are various light dings across the surface, but nothing that has caused any structural damage like cracking or warping. The bottom has some areas with a thin layer torn off from 3M adhesive, as well as some cable management and velcro that I’m going to leave on in case they’re useful to the next owner. The far corners have holes that were previously used for an upper shelf, which I removed to make room for monitors and accessories. I would love to keep this desk for many more decades, but I am upgrading to a larger standing desk and don’t have room for both.
