Palm Springs” Contemporary French Doors and Windows Scene Limited Edition Fanch Framed Lithograph

"PALM SPRINGS" is a limited edition lithograph by the well-known French artist Fanch Ledan, printed on ivory colored Arches paper. It was executed in 1992 and is a SOLD-OUT edition. The print is hand-signed and numbered in pencil by the artist and is number 23 (XXIII/C. Print is in mint condition, has been framed and comes in a wood, modern frame which that has some blemishes but not very noticeable. The publisher was Park West Galleries of Southfield, Michigan and the printer was Atelier Desjobert of Paris, France. Fanch Ledan will often create combinations of locations that cannot exist in reality, like a view of the Taj Mahal or the Pyramids of Egypt from an elegant private balcony. His works feature a remarkable sense of detail and color subtlety. Most often they are absent of figures within the composition, but a human presence is felt by the remnants of the people who occupy the space, a pair of eyeglasses can often be spotted somewhere in a Fanch interior.
