50 obo don't know much about the desk other than its heavy I believe the metal is brass and it said Chicago school distric on the metals part as well. I saved it from a dump run and it did me and my kids well just sort need it now kids are older. It can be screwed to the floor if wanted it has pre-made holes for that extra safety. Cubby under it and the perfect pencil sized dent on it for pen or pencil only reason im asking the price was the work I did on re staining cleaning ect when I first got it. I do know its old but unaware the year or location
