Harley Davidson Tokens - Sturgis - Deadwood - 1997 Black Hills Novelty - Motorcycle Series - $1 Coin / Token Sturgis - Deadwood - 1997 This is a set of 5 different 1997 Sturgis One Dollar Gaming Tokens / Coins from Black Hills Novelty out of Deadwood, South Dakota These are very collectible gaming tokens or novelty coins. People tend to hang on to them when they get their hands on them. They are becoming more and more rare and harder to find. This is an annual Motorcycle Rally event held in Sturgis, South Dakota. These tokens are issued at the annual event. These particular ones were specifically made for the 1997 event. These "One Dollar" tokens functioned as a casino token or as a novelty token. It is made of a silver and copper metal. There are 5 different coins with 5 different Harley Davidson motorcycle designs on them. The motorcycle designs on these tokens feature the following motorcycles: 1961 AJS 1929 CLEVELAND 1980 HARLEY DAVIDSON 1916 INDIAN MODEL H 1964 DUO GLIDE They all read “CLASSIC MOTOR CYCLE SERIES” on the upper front side of the coin. They also read “B.H. NOVELTY” “ONE DOLLAR” “ DEADWOOD SD” the word “STURGIS 1997” also appears on the front side of the coin above the motorcycle. These tokens were specifically created for the 1997 Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally held in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I have different motorcycle series coins for various years.
