Description
Mid to late 1970s pin tail shaped by Jeff Widener for Hap Jacobs Surfboards. Jeff was known for his high-performance shapes during the 70s Shortboard revolution and into 80s 90s and I believe may still shape for Matt Biolos, lost Surfboards in San Clemente. This board is a full on race car of this period, designed with speed and performance in mind. Design features a pronounced V through the tail with wings that would correspond with the trailing edge of the fin. Blue, green and yellow resin abstract bottom and cut laps with blue resin pin line in the lap and black pin line accents at the tail. Period correct leash cup indicates mid/late 1970s production. Unrestored condition, with several unrepaired or partially repaired shatters throughout the bottom and rails, however the deck is nearly perfect with zero soft spots or delamination. Excellent candidate for repair and continued use or collection. *Not necessarily wanting to sell this board… But I have my eye on a couple others that I may need soon ;) Not looking for trades at this time, cash please.
