PARFUMS VINTAGE Emperor Extrait - 50ml

Since 2016 we have been producing high quality Aventus alternatives using high grade natural ingredients. In 2018, we released the best Aventus alternative, a result of dozens of manual trials, unmatched in quality with excellent performance: Emperor Extrait. It is the benchmark to this day. Meanwhile, Aventus has been subjected to several reformulations resulting in a decimation of its composition. The contrast is so stark that it can be seen in the colour hue of the parfum of new batches. Once a rich yellow compound upon release, attestation of its complete composition is now so void of the Aventus defining ingredients that newly released batches are a clear/ transparent hue resembling the tone of Evian water. Vintage batches morphed from the rich yellow hue into rich green tones with the ageing of the vanilla ingredients, amongst others that contribute to the ethereal realism of the vanilla accord, confirmed with much research and many trials. Unfortunately, Aventus on the shelves today is a shadow of its former self. The Pineapple note that has always been fleeting is no longer the desirable syrupy type, replaced instead with a rather drab unripe green pineapple accord that doesn't begin to satisfy, especially amongst many the Aventus aficionados that know the truth of the vintage batches. The pineapple accord never really gets going and it certainly doesn't blossom like before due to the reformulation of ingredients. The desirable notes are aggressively interrupted by the woody and musky heart of the fragrance that arrives far too quickly and the result is a disappointing linear composition that has been described as being hollow in comparison. Emperor Extrait and its formulation is true to the same release of 2018 and it will remain so. This is a founding pledge of our Perfumer and founding CEO. Our compositions are without reformulation. We are positioned outside the EU and this is no coincidence. It is just one example of prioritising consistency and the integrity of our formulations so that our customers have confidence when re-purchasing. Whilst we cannot replicate the effect that time ageing has on a compound, we do not reformulate our fragrances whatsoever. Any reformulation is assigned a new product name so that customers have confidence of knowing that the formulation of Emperor Extrait is true to its composition.
