1982 Grumman 4.6 Striper Center Console boat with Trailer This is a Grumman Meter Series boat. They were built between 1978 and about 1985, and many that know them consider them the best aluminum boats ever built. Thats debatable of course, by they are certainly the best riveted aluminum boats ever built. This outboard utility is 15.08 feet long and weighs 485 (pounds dry). This weight does not account for passengers, fuel, or gear. The beam of this craft is 71 inches. I have spent many hours and dollars to get this boat dialed in for trolling. It was designed to be a low maintenance boat that could simply be plugged in and fish read 24x7. I would say 90% of the boat is new and/or rebuilt with the exception of the aluminum rivetted hull. Decking, plumbing, wiring, carpet, accessories, etc. I have not ran this on water in roughly 12 months. I have cleaned both carburetors and had the outboard running fairly good with speeds around the 20mph mark. Would recommend new owner take the outboard in for a professional cleaning and tuning if you plan to take it on any river or the delta. I have been spending more time on the pontoon boat than in the Striper so it is time to let her go to the next person. Not interested in trades or entertaining any low ball offers. I know this boats value as well as the upgrades that I put into it.
