Vintage Mid Century Danish Modern Stereo Console - Packard Bell

Beautiful Mid Century Packard Bell stereo console with walnut cabinet. The real wood is gorgeous and the unit is solid. Original model no. RPC-92. The top opens to access the stereo, which has cool tuner display mechanism and Garrard turntable. The Stereo powers up including lamps, but produces no sound. I have retrofitted the back to house a small Sony Receiver (included with sale), which has been connected to the speakers and tied into an auxiliary input attached to center back via RCA cables which can be used to connect TV, or any audio device, smartphone, tablet or Bluetooth receiver. The Sony receiver is easy to turn on/off, and volume knob is accessible from behind. The 3 way speakers including 12" woofer, Mid, and horn are incredible and produce a rich full sound with plenty of bass. Am certain this was considered a high end audio console back in the 60's when it was made, and could now be used as a beautiful TV stand with built in audio.
