Description

Overview: Up for sale is a phenomenal late mid-century abstract cityscape painting. The painting is on thick matte paper, and appears to be gouache. It was painted by listed Israeli artist, Shaul Ohaly (1(contact info removed)). I love Ohaly's works, particularly his cityscape pieces. The sweeping brushstrokes really brings a midcentury European feel to a Mediterranean scene. Painting is signed at lower right. Laid down on thick cardboard. It is undated and unframed, but I would estimate that this dates to the 1960's to 1980's. Condition: The painting is in fair to good condition. It has a moderate crease running vertically down the center. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 19.75 inches high x 13.75 inches.
