Carvin Vintage 33 Tube Guitar Amp This was my main gigging amp for the past few years. Great all tube sound, and it’s right in that Fender Deluxe wattage sweet spot. Can be loud when necessary, takes pedals well and can get some great amp distortion. Footswitch Included. This amp has been good to me, but it definitely has a few concerns: Missing two knobs…easy fix Reverb can be a little wonky, works only in the higher range on the knob and can cut out, but rarely does. Possibly a tube issue? Pots, especially the mid pot on the clean channel are scratchy…could use a cleaning I’m sure. I just replaced the speaker with an electro harmonix 12VR8 and replaced the speaker baffle. Noticed that the screw system for the speaker isn’t the best (screws into the wood and it’s not super secure) Missing a few screws here and there…see photos. All in all this is a very functional great amp, could use some TLC though. My original plan was to build a cabinet for it, but lost interest. Could potentially be interested in trades or offers.
