Incredible vintage Maitland Smith writing desk. Stunning shagreen sides with strips of polished chrome. Beautiful crackle finish top and polished chrome feet. A truly spectacular piece of furniture. Acquired from a Palm Beach estate. This is a solid piece of furniture and very heavy! The desk alone was purchased for almost $5,000. We are selling this for just $175! !!! $5,000 >> $175 !!! Note: There are a few noticeable scratch marks on the body, and the centre of the desk is missing its chrome “V” piece found similarly found on each side of the drawer, so this desk could definitely use some TLC to bring it back to fighting shape - especially if one wanted to restore it and resell.
