Titled “Urban Summer,” this is a beautiful original painting by Maria Farias with vivid colors and tons of texture and dimension. Thick layers of paint have been scraped, dragged and patterned across the canvas, with raised ridges, crosshatching and other textured details throughout. The bright orange and red upper section contrasts with rich greens and darker tones below. A really bold statement piece, especially in person where you can see all of the surface detail.
