I am selling my Gretsch Soprano Ukulele. This uke has been through a lot in its previous life. When I got it, some assembly was required as the back was in three pieces, and mostly off of the instrument. The neck was off, and missing the tuning machines. The top also had a few cracks that needed attention. I glued it all back as best as I could. The frets also needed replacing as the original frets were either missing or in bad shape. I have since glued and cleated the ukulele neck together, performed a refret and got it back to one piece. The bridge is a bit chewed up, but it holds the strings, so I left it. New friction tuning machines were installed, along with a set of Aquila strings and a gig bag. Anyhow, this uke is singing once again. It will never win any beauty awards, but it is solid and plays well. I am asking $30 for this uke and hope to sell it to someone who will appreciate this poor abused instrument and make it sing.
