Vintage LEVITON USA Mid Century Gothic Revival Brass & Crystal Cut Glass Lamp & Shade over 3 Ft Tall HUGE , STUNNING , AMAZING and now ONE OF A KIND PIECE ~ Made in the USA ❣️😻👏👏👏😻❣️ ♥️ What you have here is a flawless, nearly 3 ft. in height, Leviton USA , Solid Brass Lamp Base that works perfectly❣️ Base is a 9” Wide, 3 legged, ornate, scrolling, gothic, solid and heavy brass-work art piece that is adorned with TWO MASSIVE 9” in Diameter Crystal Cut, Smoked Glass, Spheres that are both flawless as well❣️😻 ~ Base has been in my family for decades. ♥️ When I inherited this lamp base, about 15 - 20 years ago, I went on a personal mission and sought out the PERFECT (in my mind) Lamp shade from the same era in time, to compliment the base and complete this lamp ~ I succeeded and used this on my single, large, nightstand for many years and it is now time to pass it on as I will be moving and not taking much with me. ♥️ I found and purchased this Gorgous, genuine vintage Boudoir shade on eBay over 15 years ago and paid just shy of $400 + shipping for the shade alone; and have never regretted it❣️😻 I felt that the deep, dark coloring of the Tapestry panels compliment the dark, smoked crystal orbs on the lamp base / neck PERFECTLY, while the neutral and lighter coloring of the more subdued panels that are made from not quite as thick of a fabric, let the light shine through in those areas very well, so that the lamp is useful, while still having that gothic revival boudoir feel to the filtered light as well, not JUST the look of the lamp itself. ~ I also loved the dual texture of the beading atop the waterfall fringe skirting to the shade❣️ ♥️ CREATES A BEAUTIFUL AND SULTRY ATMOSPHERE❣️😻 ♥️ Dome Shade measures 17” across from one pointed tip to the other. ~ There is some normal color variations on the lighter panels from age that show as almost gradient in appearance when the light is turned off, and disappear altogether when you switch the light on❣️ ♥️ With the shade on, this lamp measures 37” in height, just over 3 feet tall❣️😻 ~ If you would like more photos just ask❣️ I would be happy to send more photos as only 12 are allowed on this platform and I have plenty more showing the stunning details up close❣️ ♥️ Now REDUCED to $375 FIRM ~ which is the price I paid for the lamp shade alone when including the shipping cost for the shade ~ please look up comps of other vintage Leviton lamps if you are unfamiliar with this maker.
