Buckingham Palace sets the scene for the society’s 1955 Gold Medal Winning rose. “Queen Elizabeth” has clear, soft, mid-pink blooms befitting the subtle beauty of Britain’s queen. The variety was developed in the United States. This royal rose is portrayed with exceptional beauty by the artists of The Boehm Studios. And a stately painting of the Queen’s own palace adds a touch of Historic grace to the presentation. All of this beauty comes to life on superb, Boehm English bone China and is graced by a especially wide band of gleaming gold. Documents show this plate was originally ordered on 4/17/1984.
