One box window AC unit. 10,000 BTUs (a pretty strong one). 10,000 BTUs is rated to cool 400-450 sq ft. This one kept three back rooms nice and cool. On the coldest setting it got colder than I wanted so I used the middle setting for close to 500sq ft of space.
