Kawai 49" Upright Piano (Model BL-31)

For sale is a lovely Kawai BL-31 upright piano. It's 49 inches tall, which is big enough to provide a rich sound (larger than a Yamaha U1, for comparison). Japanese made, which is usually an indicator of good construction quality for these uprights. Tuned regularly, recently examined by a piano technician who found it to be in good condition. Action was just re-regulated for a smoother and more consistent touch, and some voicing was done for sound evenness. Hammers, soundboard, everything all looks to be in good shape. Exterior is in very good shape, polished ebony/black finish. I have had the piano for about 5 years and played it regularly. It's a great instrument for a skilled pianist or for the young student taking lessons (big step up from a digital keyboard or the average old family piano!). Asking $3000.
