This is a Takamine Jasmine ES100C-4 Acoustic/Electric Bass Guitar with special added modifications. Mohogany back and sides, Spruce top, Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard and a Rosewood Bridge. It has Built-in electronics with a Paratek 3-Band EQ, Volume and under saddle pickup system. There is the additional modification with the installation of an EMG Magnetic Pickup at the sound hole with a volume knob and a blend knob providing the use of both pickup systems simultaneously for great amplified sound choices. The Piezo Under Saddle Pick-Up has a bright, percussive tone with nice articulation and the EMG Magnetic Sound Hoke Pick-up adds a really warm full tone. The guitar has really nice inlay and binding work. It plays like a dream and sounds really great unamplified with a rich tone, resonance and volume. It offer the best of both worlds - suitable for quiet performance settings or recordings where you want a more acoustic tone, or on-stage fully amplified at high volume.
