Purchased new for $1399.00 in 2013. Mattress was gently used for 2 years and has been stored in plastic, unused in our spare bedroom for the last year. Comes from non-smoking home and pet-free bedroom. A water-proof mattress cover was utilized during the entire timeframe it was being used. Minor scuffs on edges and one scratch on the bottom surface from being moved by movers; ultimately neither affect the look or function of the mattress. It is otherwise an extremely comfortable mattress and in great condition! We are sadly parting with the mattress because it is too soft for my husband, who prefers an extremely firm mattress.
