Acoustic Research Classic 30 Speakers

Listing my Acoustic Research Classic 30 speakers, cherry mahogany wood. I bought them brand new back in 1993, directly from AR in Canton, MA. I understand that some folks may want the best priced possible so I will consider selling these for $900 without the spare drivers. I still have the original boxes, I also have (2) brand new extra spare OEM tweeters, (2) brand new extra 10 inch OEM woofers, and 2 Spare OEM midranges. The cabinets are real wood, unlike most speakers built today which use vinyl laminate over particleboard. The trapezoidal shape blends nicely with traditional and modern decor; as well as discouraging people from setting anything on them! They stand well over 4ft tall (52" to be exact), are 15" wide, are 16" deep (with the grills on) and weigh over 150lbs each! The front grills are in excellent condition. The frames are undamaged and the grill cloth is nice and clean. They even still have the original AR logo's. The cabinet bases came equipped from AR with threaded inserts for use with carpet spikes. I also have the original owner's reference manual, sales brochure, and binding post jumpers that I will include. High quality, made in the US, vintage AR speakers are getting harder and harder to find; especially in this nice of condition. Frankly, most owners love their Classic AR's and are just not interested in selling them. The ONLY reason I am parting with them is that I am now moving to Sage Series Wisdom Audio speakers.
