I bought this Vivint Home Security System less than a year ago. Was having trouble with canal living in my apartment building. It has great picture resolution. The two outside cameras have voice activation option. I had to buy one for front and rear entrance. There is a wall mount for settings and communication with Vivint. There is a motion detector and broken glass detector as well. There are also two door alarms and two inside cameras. There is a stay option that allows you to have cameras on while you are home. The system can be set on alarm or silent that alerts Vivint and the police of any security breach. You have a passcode you make up to let them know you accident tripped it or there is an actual intruder. This system worked great for me! The vandal upstairs saw the outside cameras and vandalism immediately stopped. My landlord never again entered my apartment without notice and my permission. I ended up moving and the equipment has been in my storage unit for about six months. The whole system was actually used for less than six months. Like brand new.
