“Avana Comfort LIFT Under Mattress Gentle Incline Elevator, queen, 7 inches, no cover” • Elevates the head of the bed by 7” • Foam wedges span the full length of your mattress, from head to foot • Can be used with any queen mattress and bed frame • Composed of 2 foam wedges, making for easy installation We used this product on our bed for one week, but unfortunately it aggravated a back pain issue. It was subsequently stored in our hallway for another 3 weeks or so. The narrow end of the wedges are slightly yellowed because the wedges were stored upright, and the narrow end was nearest to the ceiling light. We’ve since rolled each wedge up and stored them in large bags to make them easier to transport. The product is undamaged, but the wedges may have acquired some dust while we rolled them up. From the Dysautonomia International website: “It is recommended to slightly elevate the patient's head during sleep. This is done in order to help (re)condition the patient's body to orthostatic stress… Elevating the whole body and having the feet be lower than the hip area is needed to get the intended benefit.”
