Size: 13.5" L × 7.5" W × 4" H Authentic 19th-century Scandinavian bentwood tine (svepask). One steamed board bent to an oval and hand-sewn at the overlap with split-root/wood lacing; pegged bottom; original oval lid with arched handle and traditional locking “ears.” Warm, untouched patina and great primitive character. Underside initialed “S I P S.” Condition: Sound and display-ready. Honest age wear: shrinkage cracks to the bottom, a few checks to the lid, small scuffs and losses from use. Lacing intact; lid/ears function properly. Use: Perfect for country/primitive décor, treen & folk-art collections, or stylish storage. Price: $295 OBO
