This is a VINTAGE 1947-49 (back stamp mark use period) FRANCISCAN WARE DESERT ROSE HAND DECORATED TEA POT with original LID. The glossy finish and hand decorated colorful raised / embossed leaf, vine and rose flower design with a standing flower bud centered at the top of the matching lid. Holds 4 to 5 cups of water (measured. The large size tea pot measures about 6" high with the lid, about 6" at the widest pot body and about 10" overall including spout and handle. Made in California. Very Good - Fine condition and appearance
