The design of this bike originates form a custom a made adaptive tandem where a handicap rider sits in a seat mounted on the front (where the cargo rack is now) and had a hook up system for hand crank pedaling, cool! This is a very study design. It has even proven strong enough to carry another adult. however its not ideal, the fork is deceptively strong for its ornate, lugged design.
