Description
I have available a pop art poster from 1990, signed by the artist, Jim Miller, that was a promotional poster for Clinton Eastwood's Mayoral run for Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA. This was for the 1986 Mayoral race. This piece is vintage, retro, and pop art all rolled into one really cool piece of memorabilia. The colors are vivid, the piece is an unbalanced ironic statement with ice cream cones on one side and a revolver on the other! It is bordered cleverly by ice cream cones. The entire point of the piece is Clinton Eastwood was trying to allow ice cream cone sales to be available in Carmel-by-the-Sea, which at the time, the local government wasn't allowing. Clint Eastwood's entire campaign was geared towards repealing that law. This would be a cool and unique gift. I have seen a few of these sold, but none signed by the artist. I will have this one priced well, but I can't let it go too cheap, since it's not likely I'll ever see another one. Dimensions: Height: 24" Width: 18" Depth: 1" Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about this item. I have several other items available on my profile. FCFS. No holds.
