4 pc DW Collectors Classics Series - Limited Buddy Rich Edition - Craviotto Snare - Drum Workshop

A rare collaboration between Cathy Rich (daughter of Buddy Rich) and DW, a very limited run of these sets were produced, to launch the Classics Series. Soon after production started, Cathy Rich terminated her agreement with DW to start the Buddy Rich Drum Company oversees, with little success. The wrap was specially created for this limited series and does not match the current “Vintage White Marine Pearl”. It is rare and beautiful, a gorgeous custard color. The shells are designed to mimic the highly desired Slingerland Radio King 3 ply formula with a Poplar core, sandwiched between two plies of African Mahogany and oversized maple rerings to structurally embrace the thin shell design. Like the beloved Radio Kings, each shell features a special butter round-over 30 degree edge that emphasizes the tone of each shell. Very special Classics badges, low serial numbers, customized wrap, lacquer coated inlay bass hoops, heavy duty vintage rail style bass mount, heavy duty cymbal bass mount, matching 8 lug, solid steam bent maple Craviotto snare drum.
