Beautifully restored Lightning Sailboat. Over 15,000 Lightning’s have been built since Sparkman and Stephens introduced the design in 1938. The boat offered here was built in the mid 1950’s to a very high level of exacting craftsmanship. Throughout her life she was most likely stored under cover when not being sailed. * complete with the exception of a spinnaker and related spinnaker gear Trailer: A newer Pacific model , all galvanized, that is rigged with a mast stepping “gin” pole that facilitates easy mast stepping and take down. The trailer and gin pole was over $3500.00 when purchased new for this boat.
