GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!  NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!!  Just take a look at all their recent NEGATIVE service center reviews on Google. I needed warranty work done, and unfortunately trusted their Ford service center.

Service Center = less than one star review for the Sunrise Ford Service Department incorporating these key facts:

- service advisor manager Steven Neidhardt, has poor customer service skills, blamed me, the victim, for their shoddy work on my 2017 Ford Raptor transmission, under warranty, in perfect working condition otherwise

- shop did not fix transmission correctly, which led to engine problems driving to Fort Lauderdale, cam phasers started screaming as my Engine was being overworked (see images attached), now Sunrise Ford is telling me the engine and cam phasers issue is separate when clearly their faulty transmission work led to stress on my engine.  This is a SERIOUS issue and I hoped only that I would be met with apologies and corrective action; however, I have been met with victim blaming and an invoice.  I was out in a seriously UNSAFE position attempting to get acceleration in south Florida traffic and almost hit by a tractor trailer at one point attempting to merge and getting no gear connection, no torque or acceleration.  Seriously cannot believe this ever left the shop / that they test drove this appropriately. The service advisor even bragged to about how quickly his guys turn around transmission work, after me sitting there with him fearful for my vehicle, and the experience I had just been thru.  I’m not concerned about how quickly they can get them out and do another, I’m cornered for my safety and for the vehicle I love and take care of…

- shop dropped a pole
On my door, then body shop spent 5 days painting the door.  Ding was still visible and paint drips were visible and needs to be corrected again.  My vehicle has been there for over a week again and I had to call the body shop to find out they still hadn’t fixed their mistake.  They also left it parked outside of the locked fenced area on a Friday evening, and to my horror, they left the vehicle unlocked when I went to check on it the first time I was getting the runaround on them fixing the door they damaged. Unreal.

- ford service department said they would fix the transmission work that was done incorrectly the first time, but that the engine / cam phasers would cost me $2800 to fix, eventhough their faulty transmission work caused the stress to my perfectly strong engine

- never has a loaner car been offered throughout this entire process even tho a pole was dropped on my vehicle then I had to bring it back bc of improper repairs to the transmission which led to stress on my engine and cam phasers.  Again, instead of apologizing and making things right, I was met with a mechanic and the head manager of the service center immediately gaslighting me and telling me those aren’t related.  Now, eventhough my transmission work is covered under warranty, I’m supposed to pay them $2800 to fix my cam phasers, when they are the ones who put my truck in worse condition than when I first brought it in, complete insanity.

I’m a simple man; apologize, fix what you broke, and let me
Move on with my life and the vehicle that I take care of and love.

UPDATE: I had it towed to Mullinax Ford Vero Beach.

I recently purchased a 2025 Ford Maverick XL and had an outstanding experience with my sales people, Alfredo (I didn’t catch his last name), Bill Hughes, and Finance manager Lauren Barrett. From start to finish, they made the process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Alfredo, Bill and Lauren went above and beyond to speed line my purchase and quickly resolve an issue I encountered with another dealership regarding a different Maverick.

Their transparency, efficiency, and professionalism made a world of difference. I was especially impressed with how accurately they presented the financing terms—what I was quoted is exactly what I left with. I also appreciated the opportunity to test drive the vehicle and ensure everything was up to par before finalizing the deal. They ensured I was comfortable throughout the whole process, and kept me updated.

Thanks to their attention to detail and commitment to customer service, I was able to drive away in a new vehicle at an amazing rate and the biggest smile on my face. I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Charlie Brenner, Service Manager at Sunrise Ford. I brought my 2024 Ford Transit in for a recurring issue—a leak from the differential seal—which had already been “repaired” once before. Instead of taking responsibility, Charlie gave me countless excuses and suggested I continue driving the vehicle until they had availability, completely disregarding the risk to my safety and my business operations. When I asked for the General Manager’s contact information to escalate the issue, he refused to provide it as well did the Sale Manager. I had to get it from another dealership, where the staff was far more helpful and professional. Only after contacting the GM did I finally receive the attention I deserved. To make matters worse, Charlie raised his voice at me when I asked him to put his recommendation (to keep driving the damaged vehicle) in writing, as I no longer trusted his word. This isn’t the first instance of negligence either—during a previous service, the techs filled only 6 quarts of oil into a 12-quart engine, and all I got was a simple apology. Mistakes happen, but repeated errors combined with dishonesty and poor treatment are unacceptable. As a business owner, my vehicle is essential, and being told “that’s your problem” shows complete disregard for customers. Warranties exist for a reason, and proper repairs should involve diagnosing the root cause, not just replacing faulty parts. I hope Sunrise Ford takes a serious look at how their service department is run because no customer should have to fight this hard for basic respect and proper service.

I realized my Ford Fusion was braking while I was driving and the brake lights were stuck on so I decided I had to finally make it into Ford to get my recalls repaired, and the woman in the black shirt (I think she’s a manager, I didn’t get her name) got me an appointment as soon as possible and then David took care of me and got me and my kids a courtesy Lyft home, which I did NOT expect being I wasn’t being charged for the recalls . In all honesty, I totally expected the Dealership to be annoyed and halfway rude with me because they weren’t making any money helping me, but I was pleasantly surprised. They treated me amazing and my car is running beautifully. Thank you all so much !! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Avoid This Service Center –  I wish I had read the bad reviews before bringing my truck here. The only reason I came to the dealer for service was because I expected “Ford-certified technicians” to be thorough and professional, but that was not the case.

They claimed my repair was a bigger job than necessary and quoted me a price that was 30% higher than another Ford dealer and 50% higher than a local shop. When I said I’d just take my truck elsewhere, they increased my diagnostic fees by nearly $300 from the original cost I signed for, making it pointless to leave. Paying $700 in “diagnosis fees” and having to do the work elsewhere just didn’t sit right with me but now I know I should’ve.

After the repair was done and I got home, I found an oil leak under the truck that they never mentioned, despite supposedly performing a multi-point inspection. My invoice states multi point inspection on it…When I asked for the inspection report afterwards, they never provided it and I bet one was not even done.. this was main reason to go to ford for them to throughly inspect my truck. Truck was serviced by them 03/28 these photos attached of oil leak were taken 03/29.

On top of that, the main issue I came for was a known problem with my type of truck (the molded leadframe), but they insisted I needed a more expensive repair (the main control). Now after researching more, I found their recommendation wasn’t even correct as they stated my issue was the OSS sensor NOT the molded leadframe frame and that doing just the molded leadframe replacement would not fix the oss sensor… Now I know that the OSS sensor is integrated in the molded leadframe so replacing that would’ve got me a new oss sensor and saved me money.

My father also had a bad experience here and walked away as they wasted his time. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else!
