Vintage IBM 5155 Model 68 Portable Personal Computer PC w/case, RARE Excellent Condition! First, A Basic Overview The IBM Portable Personal Computer was released in February of 1984.  It was sold with the CPU of Intel 8088 @ 4.77 MHz and 256 KB memory (expandable to 640 KB) Display: CGA card connected to an internal 9-inch monochrome (amber)  composite monitor.  -------------------------- About the 1984 IBM portable computer in this listing:  This listing is for the exact IBM 5155 computer & keyboard shown in the photos. It is super clean with not even a speck of grime. The body has no no dings. There is only one flaw; on the handle there is minimal scraping. This is the second 5155 I have listed this month. The first one sold right away. I am selling this computer for a friend who actually retired from IBM so it has been well maintained. It was working perfectly for him as of the last time he used it; though up till now, it had been in storage for a number of years. When I powered it up, it came to life very quickly. Onscreen text indicated: 256 KB and Hard disk 1: 615 CYLS. There is a hard drive on this system  (see photo), however, because I am unfamiliar with DOS, I was unable to see it's full capabilities.
