Fender American Stratocaster Hot Rod Texas Special / Roadhouse Shoreline Gold

Awesome Strat from 2001 looks almost new. Completely stock from Fender with no mods! Very clean with very minor play wear, light finish scratches/polish swirls. The nut has a crack on the bass side but has been glued and is stable. Some minor fret wear as shown but plays cleanly up and down the neck and does not need any fretwork to my preference. This model was known as the Fender Roadhouse Strat in the late 90s and came loaded with Custom Shop Texas Specials and Pearloid pickguard and back cover and was offered in a few limited finishes. In 2000 or so the redid the model and changed it from the “swimming pool” rout to the more conventional HSH rout, which this has. All original except for the aftermarket tweed case as pictured. This guitar was just gone over and set up by my friend Jason Smith from the Fender Custom Shop, who is kind enough to dial in all of my guitars. Trem is decked to the body for extra punch and resonance and maximum tone. I love these guitars and would keep this one but just prefer the same guitar I already have in another color. Thought I’d give this sweet girl a good home. She deserves to be played and loved.
