Excellent condition 1969 Gibson L-5 CES. All original, no breaks. This example has to be one of the warmest, and best playing L-5’s from the Norlin era that I have owned. Over time, the gold plating on the hardware has wore over time, but this is obviously purely cosmetic. The neck pickup on this L-5 is everything you would want in a jazz sense, but the middle position and bridge position have their own very distinct and lovely differences. All positions also handle gain quite well. No scratchy pots, all the tuners work as they should, and all electronics have been tested to be working perfectly. Not a chunky neck profile by any means, but feels solid in the hand with a slightly flatter radius. Some very light buckle rash as pictured, but I found it quite hard to find any significant damage on this guitar, as it was passed down through a family that kept the guitar either in the case or hung up in a spare bedroom. Comes with what looks to be the original Gibson case. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
