Overview: Up for sale is this a lovely still life oil painting by listed Los Angeles, California artist, Lorraine Pelman (1(contact info removed)). Ms. Pelman was a very active artist and member of the Beverly Hills Art League. This piece depicts two bouquets of flowers in an impressionist style. Lovely brushwork and colors. It is signed "Lorraine Pelman" at lower right (I acquired this piece amongst a number of Ms. Pelman's paintings recently). Undated, but I'd estimate that this dates to the 1960's or 1970's. It comes framed in a lovely carved wood frame with velvet matting. Condition: The painting and frame are in excellent condition. Matting shows some wear. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 7.125 inches wide x 5.25 inches high. Frame measures 11.25 inches wide x 9.25 inches high.
