This rare ceramic figurine is part of the 1(contact info removed) “Girl Ecology Series” produced by Josef Originals. This particular piece, standing approximately 5” tall, was designed by Muriel Joseph and depicts a girl with auburn hair wearing a gold/yellow dress standing next to stalks of sunflowers. Impressed on the underside is the traditional mark of early Josef Originals statuettes: cursive “Josef Originals” + copyright symbol. This is a very desirable figurine in excellent condition. No chips, dings, breaks or repairs. Never exposed to direct sunlight, so the colors are vibrant and intense. Perfect addition to any Josef Originals or vintage ceramic/porcelain collection.
