Vintage German painted glass roundel depicting the legend of Saint Hubertus (Sankt Hubertus), the patron saint of hunters. Features the iconic image of the hunter kneeling before the majestic stag with the radiant crucifix between its antlers. The Gothic script border reads: "Sankt Hubertus - gib gute Jagd" (Saint Hubertus - grant a good hunt). Reverse glass painted/stained glass suncatcher with metal rim and hanging chains. Dimensions: 9-1/4" diameter Excellent vintage condition. Vivid colors, solid lead/metal frame, no cracks in the glass. Ready to hang.
